Growing Ginger in a Container

While I was looking at the growing orange tree video, I noticed this video on growing ginger in a container. It was while giving people Reiki healing a decade ago that I was given ginger divinely for those that have 'lethargic' energetic systems.

The energetic system can become 'lethargic' if it is weighed down with 'emotion', or if a person is overweight. When the energetic system becomes 'lethargic' the dynamic self-healing system of the body is not working to full power. When that happens a person can be more susceptible to colds, flu, viruses and other diseases. So it best to keep your energetic system as free flowing as you can. This video is also recommending it for 'depression', and to eat during the winter months due to conditions like S.A.D.

While I was watching the video it did remind me of the 'little pig' painting due to the colors of pink and gold. As we know ginger is very expensive, so if you can grow your own in time for winter, there can be a saving made. I rather like ginger and sometimes I eat raw crystalized ginger as a sweet fruit, in preference to eating sweets. If and when I have some crystalized ginger in the cupboard, I also have some to add to food when and if required. I do like a stir fry, and use ginger powder in curries and soups as well.

One cannot underestimate the power of the ginger spice! One could also use it as an aroma, by smelling it and taking its aroma straight into the energetic system prior to cooking it. Just like we do with the healing oils. Ginger is also available as an oil for massage to be used externally.

Food is becoming the new gold due to its healing powers.  For it is gold that one can consume and is healthy for you and your energetic system. We can eat what we grow!

Ginger is known to soothe stomach upsets, good for sea/motion sickness, relieve migraine headaches, and reduce clotting in blood. Greek philosopher and sacred geometry expert, Pythagoras recommended it for digestive health, so good for the intestines and Crohn's as well due to its ability to help reduce inflammation.

Danish researchers also found that 55% of people that ate ginger experienced relief from arthritis. Ginger tea is also recommended for it and some have ginger and lemon in preference to honey and lemon. It really depends on what you are susceptible to, and to find that out you have to look at your families medical history on both sides of the family.
