RITZ HOTEL PARIS

A few days ago I posted on this blog that I had received the smell of perfumed soap, and that it reminded me of my mother being close, as she liked to be gifted with Christian Dior soap, and that reminds me of Paris, France.

I knew in my heart that there was going to be another event in France in the forthcoming days, I also felt that there was another passing coming and she had given her signature for that purpose. Mum loved Diana - and she used to collect pictures of her, she kept an in-depth record of her life, as and when it was published. It was one of her hobbies.

Since then the Ritz Hotel in Paris has been in the news. The hotel that was bought by Mohammed Al-Fayed, the same hotel where Diana, Princess of Wales and Dodi dined that evening that people still remember.

Apparently the hotel was closed for refurbishment in 2012 for two years, see the lovely pictures of the historic French hotel in the Daily Mail link above announcing the renovation. Wikipedia share with us that it was scheduled to reopen in late 2015, and that was later changed to March 2016.

However, the news is that the roof caught fire, a major fire, 15 fire engines, and 60 firefighters. Some say its an insurance claim job, it looks more like a warning to me. First his son, and now his hotel just before the renovation was completed and about to open.

Paris is not a safe place to live or work.

When I was in Paris with mum, I didn't get a good feeling about it at all.

That was in the 1970's, I just didn't like the energy of Paris.

Maybe past life, as mum said that our French ancestors left due to the French Revolution.

Although I have found that her maiden name also has a heritage in the UK.
