Israel Isaiah 28

Today I was asked, 'Who has made a covenant with death?. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is the God of the living'.

When I looked at the Jerusalem Post, front page story about a funeral in Israel of an IDF soldier that has passed over. His family came from Mexico to live in Israel. It was vowed at the funeral that they 'would leave a chair for their son empty on every shabbat'.

Traditionally the shabbat chair as been for the prophet Elijah.

Then if you review Isaiah 28 it provides a prophecy, 'Your covenant with death will be annulled; your agreement with the dead will not stand'. Interesting that the prophecy in Isaiah 28 happens at the same time as Northern England, Scotland and Ireland have been flooded. 'I will make justice the measuring line and righteousness the plumb line'.

What else, Little Israel, North London, there has also been a happening reported in the JP, due to what happened to the Jewish Orthodox.
