IRISH GEEP ARRIVAL

Well lots of Irish stories this week. Now we have a rare hybrid 'goat-sheep' born on an Irish farm and they call them 'Geep'.

Its really cute, its only two weeks old, and its already growing horns. The farmer said some really funny things, and as I am writing this, the light bulb where I am writing is flickering. Hence, something very important is surely happening.

The geep was born on Paddy Murphy's farm in County Kildare and the farmer/ publican, is planning to keep it as a pet for as long as he can.

It is written that the arrival was 'unexpected', 'pure shock to the system', 'one-off event'. 'Unusual character'. He said that 'he could run faster than other lambs that were born at the same time.'

"He's unbelievable," he said. "He's so fast you'd have to get him into the pen to catch him. There's no chance you would catch him otherwise."

"We've no name set up yet, no. We might look for one" Mr Murphy said. But he has not yet chosen a name for his new pet''

It surely is a very positive sign for the Islands. New life, and new birth is always infectious joy.
