It is written that Cuma was the first ancient Greek colony on the mainland of Italy, founded by settlers from Euboea in the 8th century BC. The sanctuary of Cumaean Sibyl is now open to the general public and it would be a lovely historic site to visit.

The presence of Christianity in Cumae is identified as being in a 2nd-century AD work "The Shepherd of Hermas". A temple of Zeus was transformed into a Christian basilica.

Funny story about what the elder did when the payment for her books were refused, she just kept on burning them until they were bought!
Michelangelo clearly considered Sibyl to be important as there is also a fresco in the Sistine chapel. He left so many messages for those that would appreciate his mystical and artful way of delivering information.
Before a publishing friend passed over we discussed the Sibyl's, although Keith and I didn't discuss the importance of this location. Keith had an academic interest in anything to do with ancient times, especially, spiritually. The naming of the location is very important so it's interesting to yours truly that this specific location was a Greek colony.
Message received "My life, my love, my heart".
