In spiritual symbology the carnations express love, fascination, distinction and they come in many colors. It is written that along with the 'red rose', the red carnation can be used as a symbol of 'socialism' and the 'workers'.
Historically worn during May Day demonstrations. However, in England there is also a tradition of wearing white carnations at a wedding, and in olden days if a person wasn't wearing a flower, they would be offered one by the usher when they arrived at the Church. The family would wrap the stem of the carnation in silver paper in advance, and offer it to people when they arrived with a pin for their lapel. A White carnation is for pure love and good luck.
CARNATION - I LOVE YOU
In Christian symbology, the pink carnation became a symbol of 'undying love', symbolic of the mothers love for her son who suffered at the hands of others.
In Portugal there was a 'Carnation revolution'. It is a tradition at Oxford University, UK to wear carnations during their exams and apparently it began in the 1990s. [2]
'Undying love', reminds me of our Queen of Hearts, Princess Diana, and for sure the carnation is related to her name; and yes those in the royal palace did destroy her just like Prophet Isaiah predicted in Isaiah 22. Hence, ELIAKIM came after our Queen of Hearts with the key of David. Prince Charles is currently in the spotlight and MP's are investigating his financial affairs for he pays no tax on his huge Duchy estate. Princess Diana knew that while the rich get richer, the poor get poorer. Diana was a mother that embraced those that were suffering with her undying love. A love that was undying even after she passed over.
May the LORD bless her soul always.
