AUGMENTIN

Augmentin is an 'anti-biotic' from GlaxoSmithKline group. In 2004, they were ordered to pay $92m to settle lawsuits due to its patent manoeuvring aimed at protecting its Augmentin drug.

The drug should be taken completely off the market and banned. Any drug that co-creates nausa, vomiting, high temperature and other side effects, should never be given to patients by doctors. If they can't make a drug safe for patients, then they shouldn't be making drugs at all.

David Cameron has set up a UK Government commission review on Antimicrobial Resistance, headed up by an economist Jim O'Neill, to look into why new antibiotics are not being developed and what the causes of the antibiotic resistance are.
