Gerard has visited Tommy Robinson and gave a report that he is in good health and looking forward to returning to his journalism when he is released. So that is great to hear.
Gerard Batten has also withdrawn from the gridlock imposed upon UKIP's new leader Richard Braine by UKIP's NEC and that enables Gerard to follow his own course he says.
Batten is his own man, mature and steadfast, he won't be dictated to by people that are decades younger than he is. Batten has huge life experience and a wonderful heart to match.
