Another interview with Sally K Norton (USA) the pre-eminent authority on oxalates. This interview focuses on women's health, it includes fibroids, endometriosis, menopause, eczema and more.
Sally shares that oxalate overload is often called menopause because oxalates impact upon hormones. Oxalate overload reaches a peak at the time that menopause usually begins.
That confirms why women are tending to go into menopause much earlier than they used to. For instance my mother and I began ours in 50s, but now you hear of young women in their 40's starting their menopause. More evidence that the younger generations are consuming a lot more oxalates than the generations that came before them.
Oxalates also induce breast cancer. This study was published in 2015.
