Blue Fin Tuna England

The Telegraph report that a shoal of bluefin tuna fish has appeared off the south coast of Cornwall. Fish worth millions but the fishermen are not allowed to touch them. Due to EU fishing regulations, that only eight countries are allowed to catch the tuna. That includes Greece, France and Spain. As such, British waters are heaving with foreign fishing boats.

Interesting that I bought tuna fish again yesterday. So our tuna fish is fished in our waters, and then sold back to the UK. Where is the social justice in that? What else is on the menu this week? Salmon, Sweet Potatoes, Apricots, sultanas, cranberries, brazil and almond nuts. Beetroot and avocado.

Beetroot is at 29p at Aldi this week. So if you are onto the beetroot, Aldi is the place to go this week. Iceberg lettuce was also on special offer with cucumber. I've got some olives and feta cheese that my son bought for me, so its a Greek salad this week.

For Tuna to come into our waters, the waters must be warming up. Seals have also been seen in the River Thames, and they must be looking for food, to come so far in land.
