OCTOPUS POLITICS

This painting came in last night and it feels planetary. It looks a bit like a giant 'Octopus'. While I was painting it, I felt it was related to political parties and how people will leave both sides and something that already exists will get much bigger. The amount of people that support conservation is growing hugely, and when key people make the shift, their followers shift with them.

The NGO's are having a huge impact, and so are the universities. What happened at the great barrier reef recently was bound to impact greatly on the choices that people are now making. People do care about our oceans, and the food and minerals that they contain. If the people do not conserve the oceans, how will they conserve themselves?

We've had the coronal hole the shape of a 'bat' in the sun, then there was the swimming 'boars' in the Bahamas. Now a large flying pig in the clouds. [1] In 2010, and 2011, I also wrote about the 'Flying Pigs'. Ron Paul was also born in the Chinese Year of the Pig.
