POOH BEAR

On the 13th of April, 2017, I wrote a blogpost called the "Wonder of Life". George Michael is mentioned in the blog post and so is the Teddy Bear poem written in 2016.

KYRIACOS

George has been around again on Monday evening (25th May, 2020) while I was in the sauna/steamer. He drew close to speak to yours truly about a private matter. A private matter that is important to us both, of course he spoke of love, for it is love that matters to his heart.

Then when I moved to another room, I was given Pooh, Pooh Bear and that reminded me of the Teddy Bear poem from 2016 that I shared with a friend from London. As we know George passed at the end of 2016. How time goes so quickly.

Pooh Bear and his honey. Interesting to note that the author of Winnie the Pooh, Alan Alexander Milne was born in Kilburn and one of his teachers was H.G.Wells.

This is an historic photograph of A.A. Milne with his son and the bear. The bear is an important symbol in our western culture, a symbol of love and tender loving care with hugs. Bears that care.

Will I ever feel compelled to write another Teddy Bear poem? Only time will tell.

Earlier today I was looking at the Italian water retriever, the curly Lagotto is an historic Italian breed featured in a painting by Andrea Mantegna. The painting is called "The Meeting", and it is dated circa 1474.
