My lemon chicken recipe for health and for "cancer patients" includes the following:
4 Chicken thighs
Juice of two lemons
3-4 chopped garlic cloves.
Chunk of ginger sliced and chopped small.
Two or three stalks of celery chopped.
Red onion thinly sliced.
Large lemongrass chopped.
Herbs, thyme and oregano.
Rock salt and black pepper to taste.
All in together, with olive oil to cover with some water cooked in the oven.
That is what I had to eat last night for dinner served with jasmine rice, a courgette, small red onion cut and sliced small. A large flat mushroom sliced, cooked in butter and garlic then rose water.
I also had leftovers for lunch today.
Any juice or ingredients left over can be the base for your asparagus or celery soup.
My fruit of the day, a banana, this evening strawberries and blueberries with some ice cream.
