Franco Zeffirelli, the Italian film Director, so blessed humanity with absolutely stunning films that touched hearts and souls. His birth name, Gian Franco Corsi Zeffirelli, an Aquarian born on the 12th February 1923 passed over in Rome on the 15th of June, 2019 at the age of 96. He passed over on Saint Vladimir day.
The internationally renowned Director, worked in opera, film and television. One of his most famous is his version of Romeo and Juliet, although actor Robert Powell as Jesus of Nazareth was incredible.
A quote from Zeffirelli, "I am not a film director. I am a director who uses different instruments to express his dreams and his stories - to make people dream".

The Jerusalem Post provide their tribute to the man of sensitivity in his historic works and legacy. My view has always been that his loving tenderness came through his work on screen, I could definitely feel it and his love for the subject matter.
