EDESIA and the FEAST

Edesia in Italy, "the Roman Goddess of Food who presides over banquets", that reminds yours truly of preparing food for charitable events in the 80's, and 90's.

My mother certainly had the edesia energy, and she liked to prepare a banquet for parties and family weddings. I certainly inherited that energy of doing food creatively from mum and she loved Italy.

I nearly opened a restaurant-wine bar, a few times, although life took me in a different direction and food did become an important aspect of my colourful life and experience, for charitable reasons in providing a feast for others. The way that life manifests, when you go with the flow of it and it's energies.

OLIVE TREE 

Italy is the most ecological country in Europe as far as growing food is concerned. The nutrients in the food given the priority for their people. Most of the Italian farmers did not take on what the corporations were trying to impose upon them to increase their yields. In most cases, the Italian farmers put the quality of their food and their people first.

When you stay in an agritourismo in Italy, the food is grown organically on the land on which you walk. How wonderful is that, to eat olives and olive oil that comes from the trees where you stand.
