Interesting presentation by Dr Shawn Keller on teeth. In the UK, people have to pay for the hygienist,  over and above what they've already paid for NHS dental care. Prior to the changes in dental care, and the government reducing the funding to dentists in the UK, the dentists did the cleaning and it was included in your NHS dental care.

Even pensioners have to pay for it now in the UK, and it's expensive, it's the equivalent of  50% of their weekly pension every six months. Although depending on the situation with teeth, they may require it every three to four months.

However, the main interest of this video is Shawn's mention of the laser treatment that is required when people are having dental issues and the impact of oral health, on the rest of your bodies.
