The Sons of Israel or the Sons of God?

It's decades ago when I was first led to get a copy of the DSS, and it was clearly shown that Geza Vermes had translated it as "Sons of God".

That verse in Deuteronomy, also mentions the "Sons of Man", that were separated from others, and as we know the terminology "Son of Man", was used when referring to the prophets Daniel, Ezekiel and it is even written about Jesus when he is referred to as "Son of Man", although we also find that it is written in Luke 17, when the coming of the "Son of Man" is revealed.

150 biblical scholars at the Jesus Seminar agreed with scholar Geza Vermes that when Jesus was talking about the "Son of Man" to come, he was referring to someone else coming.

In the timeline of Luke 17, Jesus spoke of it as being like the time of Noah, and Lot.

So does the text signify that the prophets become "Sons of God",   Ponder upon it.

The DSS also mentions the Spirit of God. The Spirit of God is also mentioned in the bible passages and so is the Spirit of the LORD. Also remember the prophecy of how the Spirit of Grace and Supplication was poured out upon the house of David and Jerusalem.
