BUDDHIST MARRIAGE BAN

In Burma, Buddhist monks have proposed a marriage ban, to ban interfaith marriage with Muslims to defend their country and Buddhist spirituality. The view of the Buddhist monks is that if women wish to marry a Muslim husband, then he must become a Buddhist and they must have permission first.

What they're actually proposing is what Muslims do to people from other faiths, if you marry a Muslim, you and your children become Muslim.

So how can Muslims or anyone else argue with the Buddhists intentions of doing what they do as far as marriage is concerned? You'd like to marry a Burmese Buddhist girl then become a Buddhist to do so. So it is not really a complete ban, only a marriage ban on Buddhists becoming Muslims and propagating Islam through childbirth too.

The Burmese monk is defending his culture and people in the best way that he knows how and that is to stand strong in his spirituality for his people.

ASHIN WIRATHU

The influential Burmese Buddhist monk, Ashin Wirathu has also called out TIME Magazine, due to what they did to his photograph.  He referred to it as a "serious human rights violation". Indeed Ashin, indeed. He has already spent 25 years in prison for speaking and sharing his truth, he is defending his country from "cultural genocide" that Islam has been intent upon.

It's HOT, very, very HOT!
