This nutritionist removes the skins of dates due to the handling of dates prior to arrival with you and Tatyana says that it is hard for the body to digest as many skins as she is preparing. Although I usually eat a few dates at a time with the skins on.

Dates used to be my December fruit, for snacking on, at celebration time, although now I eat dates all year round. Fresh and in recipes. Dates are included in my monthly menu. The guys at Happy Pear have offered some great recipes for dates, especially great for children.
What's for dinner? Mussels again for joints, may as well have the fresh mussels while they're still available. My fish is some rainbow trout fillets. My salad is dill, watercress, spinach, chives, and coriander with iceberg lettuce, cucumber, with poppy, sesame, and or chia seeds. Plenty of high energy, fresh greenery in my salad with some English hemp oil in my dressing.
You could have some date balls with your meal, and cashew nuts go great with dates. Nuts and dates in the blender, and then just roll them into balls. You can roll them in chia, poppy or sesame seeds. Depending on what you have in stock, make sure you have plenty of stock of all types of seeds. I also like sunflower and pumpkin seeds too, great on breakfast, and also on salads.
As far as the dates are concerned, you could also put a few in your morning yogurt. Although I am on Greek yogurt three times a day, little and often in the third age.
Remember to have your fresh lemon juice for your Vit K, to ensure that your brain can assimilate your Vit C intake. Do you know how to test your body for calcium levels?
