MIDWIVES and ABORTIONS

The Daily Mail report that a law professor has been paid £500,000 to carry out a major review of the law so that midwives and nurses can abort babies instead of doctors.

In May 2016, they reported on a Royal College of Midwives move to "abolish abortion time limits".

In March 2017, they reported on a so-called "ethics expert",  tells MoS, women should be allowed to choose the gender of their child. As we know where gender selection happens; it is usually the case that the girls are aborted.

1. Women don't become midwives and nurses to become "abortionists", involved in "surgical procedure".

2. All surgical procedure has been carried out by doctors and should continue. I can see their motive is a cost-cutting exercise and the more cost-cutting they do, the more responsibility is put on those with different training and skills.

Those that became nurses had a choice, doctor or nurse, surgery or not. Very few nurses actually chose surgery.

3. There is a matter of ethics involved.

a) Who carries out the operation?

b) Who is willing to kill a baby and for what purpose?

c) The timeframe?

d) Whether gender selection should be allowed in the UK, I say, definitely not.
