ST MARK's CAIRO EVENT

I've just seen the sad news from Cairo in Egypt, there has been a bomb blast in a church, nearby the Copt St Mark's Cathedral in Cairo. 25 people are said to have died, and 49 are injured. Condolences to all of their friends and loved ones. May you be comforted at this time.

I wrote a blog post that mentioned the Egyptian law of Maat on this blog the other day, and last night I could smell ammonia that links to the temple of Amun. Some Christian churches were built upon the ruins of other temples. It makes you wonder what the St Mark's Cathedral was built upon.

The last time that I was in Cairo, in the 90s, a woman could not go sightseeing alone, you had to have a chaperone to protect you, as such, I wasn't able to just wander around Cairo, and find the Copt Church. Although Cairo is a very large city. 

It makes you wonder why Egyptians allowed their own language to be defeated by Arabic, as that is a sign of cultural genocide. While I was in Greece, it was shared with me that there are only 300 Copts in the world that can read Coptic.

There is also news from Nigeria, a Church roof has collapsed upon 160 people.
