Manganese Raspberry Shabbat

My manganese drink today, 150g of Raspberries, one Banana, one Kiwi, a quarter of a carton of Greek yoghurt. Delicious, it tastes like ice cream and is perfectly pink. Expensive I know, when your body requires it, you just have to have it, put your health first! When you make your own smoothies, you know what's in it!

Yesterday during a reflexology treatment my spleen has recovered, and the only thing the reflexologist picked up on was the thyroid gland. I wasn't surprised because I had some dental treatment last week.

So what do I have for the thyroid?

I finished off the Brazil nuts, last week, spinach and cashew nuts this week.

I have some marinated herring in mustard.

I have mushrooms for garlic mushrooms.

I have some lambs liver and chicken liver.

I have pumpkin seeds and sultanas.

I have cod liver oil in stock.

When there is a thyroid weakness picked up,

then it is time to leave the broccoli and cauliflower alone for awhile.

Until the thyroid is back to normal.

As we know, the thyroid is also to do with hormones and that is definitely impacted upon during the menopause. If you are post-menopause as I am, you will then be working on keeping your hormonal balance as balanced as you can with the appropriate nutrients.

So continuing with the manganese boosters, plus paying attention to the thyroid. Then next week we will see how much its shifted.
