In this interview, Assad shares that with help of the Russians they have managed to liberate Palmyra. Of course some people are not happy about the Russian intervention, although Assad is happy about the ancient city in Syria. I have written about ancient Palmyra in the past, shared the lovely photographs of the ancient site, how it once had a Jewish Queen. Joy rises in ADAR.

However, there has been a major leak of papers from Panama and Assad is one of the people named with other Islamic leaders. People in Australia, Russia and also in India. Most likely people from all over the world with offshore accounts. Apparently the journalists have been investigating the papers for eight months. This evening there was also a TV programme on it on British television, although it hasn't been uploaded to youtube yet. This is some feedback from India that explains the huge undertaking that journalists around the world have been involved in.
