Transport For All

CH4 have done a documentary on the transport issues that disabled people are having in the UK. Train companies are not being very accommodating. Its not just trains either, as I've seen restaurants with no emergency exits, and no entrance for disabled people and their wheelchairs.

Makes you wonder how highly trained those people in the planning offices are; and how much they know about planning laws. I remember in the 70's when an architect was giving his professional advice, and all venues had to be able to accommodate disabled people appropriately.

Then you have to look at whether all venues have fire exits. Some certainly don't, as such, they are not fit for purpose without fire exits, this is the 21st century.
