BRITAINS POMPEII

This is a BBC documentary on an archeological dig in Cambridgeshire, a 3,000 year old Bronze-age village. The houses were built on stilts on water and it was destroyed by fire. The nearest thing to it in Europe was found in Germany. There were people that knew how to live on water, and the archaeologists think that they were immigrants.


Interesting that the exotic glass beads look like the obsidian mandala. Wonderful glasswork in the documentary that fascinates the archeologists.
