Nino is a man's name in Spain, Italy and Greece in Georgia it is a girl's name. The Georgian name "Nino" is "Nune" or "Nuneh" in Armenian, thus St Nino is known as St Nune in Armenia. It is written in historical texts that she escaped the slaughter in 301, clearly, divinely guided.
