Experiment Over 2013 Kentucky Derby

This article from Daniel Ross at the Guardian made me smile today and he mentions how the experiment is over for this year. As we say in England, 'I am over the moon!'. So what else does Daniel share with us?

He mentions the win in 1973 that catapulted the horse to the triple-crown immortality. How the headlines surrounding the renewal seem sterile in comparison. Ross writes of the 'new qualification system', an 'overhaul of the old formula' and its rewards.

Daniel Ross wrote 'Without going into great detail, the old system recognized a horse's whole career over more recent efforts' and 'Generational transformation'. 'The revamped system is an attempt to rectify the problem. Under its new guise, Derby hopefuls are a 36 race window of opportunity to qualify'. As we know, 36 is the numeric of the Hebrew gematria value of righteousness.

The ten week period is mentioned and that relates to the ten days mentioned in Rev 2. and he writes 'what-have-you-done-for-me-lately kind of deal'. He shares that 'the new system has its share of detractors.' 'one gets the impression that the revamped formula is going to be tinkered with before the greater portion of leading racing figures are satisfied or appeased'.

'This year, the experiment is over, and the leading contenders have come to the fore'. Now that reminds me of a message that I received from the heavenly Father, when he said 'There is only one contender, the rest are pretenders'. [1]

Seriously, I am over the moon that there is a black jockey in the Derby, could he make history today? [2] St. Croix native Kevin Krigger leads 'Goldencents' into the starting gate for the 139th Kentucky Derby, he will become only the second black jockey in the last 92 years to ride in the Run for the Roses. [3]. Truly, I wish him all the very best.

A person posted that they 'hate how they beat the horses to make them run faster. If horses love to run and win with somebody on their backs, there wouldn't be a need to whip them'. 

Well it depends on the rider. The tap on the side of the horse is a sign for the horse to get moving. The horse comprehends the sign when they receive a tap on their body. Just like a baby comprehends a tap on its hand, like clapping. When we clap, the energy of the body moves, that is why clapping is good for space clearing.
