GP CONTINUITY

Norway have looked at the impact of lower GP continuity and found that it is linked with increased mortality in patients with several chronic diseases.

I've always said that a patient should always have appointments with the GP that they are registered with for continuity. The relationship between the GP and patient is crucial in providing the most suitable healthcare.

When patients see a different doctor every time they have to go to see a GP, the different GP's don't know your case like your GP does.
