I remember when the coroners in our county issued instructions that there must be a health professional present when a death certificate is written out. Then the BMA threatened legal action against the coroners if they continued with their instructions.
My GP told me that he didn't have a choice, he was threatened that he would lose his job if he had not complied.
The general public were waiting outside of parliament for Andrew to speak to them.
