The Home Office report that 11 agency workers were arrested by Immigration Enforcement at the London Marriott Hotel Regents Park on the 18th October, 2023. The "illegal" immigrants were working for 2 recruitment agencies that were sub-contracting to the hotel. 6 Different nationalities, one of them had been smuggled into the UK illegally.
The Home Office states that the employers of the agency staff working at the Regents Park hotel have been handed a civil penalty referral notice, which could result in a fine of up to £20,000 for each illegal worker. The report doesn't mention what action is being taken against the recruitment agencies, it is "illegal" to recruit and employ "illegal migrants". People have to have a work visa to work legally in the UK.

What a noisy hotel, don't like the look of it outside either, it looks like a block of flats. The American founders of the Marriott chain of hotels were Mormons. Although some of the hotels are franchises.
