It's no coincidence that all of the areas of England with a bed bug manifestation are also areas with very high immigration and economic migrants. Travellers can bring them into the country too and they spread rapidly.
They're even on the tubes in London.
Throughout my life on this planet, first time I've ever seen this in the British news. Although apparently it is rife in France. Between 2017 and 2022, 11% of French households were infested with bed bugs.
