News this evening that there is a fire in the car park at Luton airport. Buses are blocked from getting in or out of the airport.

This morning's article says it began with a car fire, article doesn't say whether it was an EV or arson. It has damaged cars and has caused some of the car park to collapse.
The film footage of how it started looks like a car bomb to me. Huge explosion.

Another update, this film footage looks like the fire began outside of the car that exploded on the passengers side in front to the left of the car.

Geoff says 1,200 cars were destroyed in this fire.
UPDATE 23RD OCTOBER, 2023.
Latest news is that it was diesel car, registrations of over 1,400 cars have been handed over to the insurance industry and a 30 year old man has been arrested and is out on bail. Investigations are continuing.

Originally, has soon as I saw the footage of how the fire started, it immediately looked like arson. Being in Luton, it could even be a terrorist attack. Also who were the people that filmed how it started and were talking on camera? From what I could see in the film footage the fire began in front of and to the left of the passenger's side. The 2nd film footage looks different to the 1st film of it published in the media, the 2nd film footage looks like the car is in the middle of the car park where people drive to find a car space, and people don't block the car park. Hence, it looks like there is something up with that piece of film.
