White Elephant - International Yoga Day 2015

A large white elephant appeared in my bedroom at dawn. When I went to get this video of a white elephant - the ad with it was for 'International Yoga Day' that is on the 21st June 2015. The 21st June is also the 'Day of Rapture' in numerics.

Lord of the White Elephant

It is written that the White Elephant is a sign that the monarch reigned with justice and power - and that the kingdom was blessed with peace and prosperity. The White Elephant can be found in both Hindu and Buddhist cosmology. In Buddhism it is associated with the birth of the Buddha and the second heaven in Buddhist cosmology - 'Trayastrimsa'.

The Guardian have provided an article on International Yoga Day - as India aims to break the world record for the largest ever yoga event. Truly global with 192 countries involved.  Interesting that Muslims have come out against it and they say that this celebration of yoga undermines India's secular state. That's funny isn't it - when Islam as done that in most countries that they invaded. However - more open Muslims have embraced yoga practice and international yoga day.

I did try yoga the exercise but it didn't turn me on - and that is a story in itself. So lets return to Reiki and Buddha.

The profile on Buddha's mother says that the child came to be due to the Father, Mother and the 'Genius'. Big smiles! No surprise then that the white elephant pays homage and there we have Gandharva a name for heavenly beings in Hinduism and Buddhism. Terminology given to skilled singers in Indian classical music. Now you see I have my Indian flute that I use for healing and the breath - and I have inversion therapy for my back.

And it is written that the mother of Buddha, Maya guided him from heaven after he attained enlightenment. Soma is also mentioned in the link on Gandharva, and we also see Soma at the Red Sea in Egypt, we have another past life connection with the child in the Belat Healing.
