The Norfolk champion James Dyson has invested in the development of Agri-Tech for his farm and he's providing strawberries at Christmas for M&S. James is intent on making the UK's agriculture industry self-sustainable with agri-technology. James Dyson a great story of a businessman with brilliant ideas, Jeremy Clarkson could do with his help to make his farm pay its way.
Food security is essential for the UK and I agree with James that with new technology on British farms, reduction of the air miles from importing food could be reduced greatly. I've been saying that for decades, importing produce makes no sense if you are serious about cutting the carbon footprint and intent on helping the oceans.
