A truly remarkable man that has had a huge impact upon British television, journalism, and whistleblowers.
Gavin was an American investigative journalist and filmmaker. 'Director of the Centre of Investigative Journalism at Goldsmiths, University of London, an Advisor to The Whistler and a Trustee of the Courage Foundation'.
Photograph of a vision that I painted after seeing it recently while bathing. I saw a black door, then a golden door, then a golden energy that looked like a comet going from the left corner to the top right corner. My comet looks more like a fish than a comet. However, I can now see the connection with Gavin due to him being a Director of Goldsmiths.
His profile also says that in recent years, his work focused on facilitating and protecting whistleblowing activities. Closely involved with the work of Julian Assange, and other Wikileaks staff, he was a Director of Wikileaks.

In this video, the professor spoke about the huge pressure upon whistleblowers and how the work of Wikileaks has spread across the world with other Wikileaks. He also says that he wasn't a whistleblower himself, he helped the whistleblowers.

On his twitter page it mentions the fundraising for Wikileaks too. His profile gives born in 1940, he was 76 years old. He had produced and directed more than 50 film documentaries since the 1970's and they were all on very important subjects. Actively involved with British television, and filmed for World in Action, Panorama, and CH4.
In the above interview he explains why he came to work in England, he had more freedom to do the work that he was passionate about.
