The other day a man was talking about how he chose Jesus as his Messiah. I responded the difference between you and me is that Jesus chose me. In the scriptures Jesus spoke of the entrusted one, the one that was entrusted with much, much would be asked.
Of course, that is true, Jesus knew and predicted that when the entrusted one came, the person would bring his true teachings back to their remembrance. He also predicted that the person would deliver the good news and that the good news must be shared with the nations. He wasn't talking about 'gospels', that had not been written at that time. Jesus knew the good news would come in the last days of the end times, because he comprehended the Jewish prophecies. The Harp of Faithfulness arrived, and prophecy says that justice shall come through faithfulness. The song of mercy and compassionate action. As the prophecies predicted, the LORD did not ask for sacrifice, he asked for mercy!
