In America there is an epidemic of dogs with endocrine disease.
At this point, I have no intention to castrate my dog who is currently 15 months. In the UK, people and breeders are not allowed to enter their dogs into Crufts if they've been cut.
During the Human Genome Project, it was discovered that children that are cut in childhood mutates their genetics and this then is the cause of allergies and skin conditions. I propose to you that it is probably the same in animals. The scientific article on the children was published in New Scientist, May 7, issue, 2006.
