The increase in population has clearly brought more taxes, yet it is only parliament that has had increased funding. The same parliament that is implementing the cuts to vital services and the NHS has gone beyond the tipping point, when junior doctors and nurses are 'committing suicide'.

Our pharmacies provide a vital service to the community and they must stay open. It used to be the case that a pharmacy was the only place open to get a prescription, and it is often the case that pharmacies in large stores and Boots do not have what has been prescribed. It should also be noted that in our area there are only two distributors that supply, and if those distributors choose not to stock something, then you can't get it anywhere. Even if you do have a prescription, so that certainly has to be looked at also. We should be able to get ear drops for an ear infection at the chemist on prescription.
