It is written that Jackson Browne was one of the leaders in the anti-nuclear movement and founded, 'Musicians United for Safe Energy' with Bonnie Raitt and John Hall in 1979. Apparently, his ranch is completely off the power grid.

No surprise then that the family of Joseph are anti-nuclear, and yours truly was summoned to deliver an anti-nuclear message, when the radio interview was delivered in January 2014. All nuclear facilities must be closed down as soon as possible.
While I was at the beach on Sunday, my friend and I were discussing a power station that we could see, and she shared with me that people have been protesting in our area, in regard to what the power station are planning to do.
Musicians around the world, have a huge impact on public opinion, and can have a much greater impact on politicians and the politics of the countries in which they live and work.
So let us call for all musicians to unite in the anti-nuclear campaign. To bring pressure to bear in this essential timeframe, of getting the facilities that are nuclear closed.
Jackson Browne is correct, if the oceans don't make it, nor will we, I was only a child when I was seen at the CND marches in London with the RAB. The campaign goes on, its in the blood, from his generation to the next. Brothers and sisters united in the heart. Mums, dads, and children.
