SIKINOS DISCOVERY

On the Greek Island of Sikinos, an 1,800 year-old burial monument has been discovered, inside they found a noblewoman buried with her golden jewellery said to be Roman. The inscription found says that her name was NEKO.

It's a rare find to find something so much in tact and research is still going on to find out more.  A great find and treasure for the Greek people.

It's put that Greek Island on the map. In Ancient Greece, Sikinos was known as Oinoe, "Island of Wine". There are so many Greek Islands, and this Island is small.

Interesting that this news was published today, after I had the dream of Lady Diana inviting yours truly to go on a trip with her. I think there is a lot more treasure to be found in Greece.
