On his website I found an official document that mentions shedding. The document is titled, "Long Term Follow-Up After Administration of Human Gene Therapy Products Guidance for Industry".
In the document the following is written:

I'm looking at the G.I. situation, in the latest government report on Astra-Zeneca given to people there have been 80,679 adverse reactions reported and 14 fatalities.
