EU -v- Greek Kaikia Boats

The Greeks go to the polling stations today to vote. Boatbuilding and fishing has always been a very important aspect of Greek culture, heritage and scenery.  The EU pays money to Greek fishermen if they scrap their wooden boats and give up their jobs.

The decision from the EU is to help stem against overfishing in the Mediterranean. The EU is forcing the fishermen and boat owners to destroy their own culture and traditional Kaikia boat building craft.

The EU means cultural genocide of the cultural history and heritage of the lands that they rule over.
