The news is that some people are horrified by scientific discovery, and the thought that the scientists have discovered that the mind still works after the medics say that they have died. The soul that leaves the body, is still consciously aware of what the medics do with it.
Another reason why I do not support what the Conservatives call "recycling" of one's organs, otherwise known as "organ harvesting".
