VEGETARIAN WOMEN HIP FRACTURES STUDY

A UK study from Leeds University has found that vegetarian women are a third more likely to suffer from hip fractures later in life because "they don't get enough nutrients to keep bones strong".

Leeds University researchers studied more than 26,000 middle-aged women. Those that did not eat meat and fish had a 33 per cent higher risk factor for the medical condition the Daily Mail reports.
