ARTICHOKE JEWS

This made me laugh today, Jewish people in Italy -v- Jewish people in Israel, Israeli's have decided that the artichoke is not kosher.

I have to say that there are two different types of artichokes, and this is about a specific type. My experience is that artichoke hearts are great for the salivary glands, and especially beneficial for people once they get to 50. I like marinated artichoke hearts as an antipasto, in salads.

We live in a funny world, when Jewish people are standing against Jewish people over food. I think based upon the reading of the scripture,  Jesus the Jew also found the battle over what was kosher and what wasn't,  the arguments over it, were less worthy of what was much more important to help the poor.

Put it this way, if artichokes was the only thing that the poor had to eat, then they would eat it. For Jesus the Jew preferred that a person lived, than died. So if you eat something that the orthodox say is not kosher, just to live and be healthy, than you must do so. For as he said, our God is for living.
