Greek Basil and Borlotti Bean Soup

I was given, gifted with some organic Borlotti beans this year to grow and they are in the soil.

Apparently they are easy to grow and provide a high yield. In return, the above painting was gifted.

This week I made some soup with borlotti beans to see how I shall cook with these beans and whether I like to eat them, whether they suit my taste buds.

My Borlotti Bean soup is with Greek Basil due to a recent Alexandra dream.

For this nutritional soup the following was included:

A few chopped garlic cloves, saute in Virgin olive oil, with a chopped red onion, half a sweet red pepper and a couple of carrots cut small with a handful of fresh celery.

Include a potato sliced and cut small, and tomatoes at the next stage with some water prior to including the Greek Basil and some fresh coriander leaves. I also included a few small slices of ham and salami cut small, as I had some that had to be eaten.

When the ingredients are cooked, include some more water prior to including a tin of borlotti beans. Just allow it to simmer, and add some black pepper to taste.

Leave it to simmer until the soup thickens naturally. Just prior to serving include some fresh spinach leaves for extra colour. Borlotti beans have a nutty chestnut flavour and a creamy texture.

It makes a lovely soup, a new soup for you to try and put on your menu's.  This link provides you with some nutritional data on these beans. The Italian borlotti bean is also popular in Portugal. These beans are beneficial to pregnant women, and there are a lot of health gains from these beans.

Basil also called great basil or Saint-Joseph's-wort, a culinary herb and medicinal. In Greece, Basil is the royal/kingly plant, it was placed upon the altars and was used to sprinkle holy water.

Some say that cooking basil takes away its power. However, as we know, water holds memory, and the Greeks like blessing the water with basil. So I can easily view the Greek Basil as a blessing upon the soup. Whether you include the basil at the beginning of the cooking or at the end. Of course you could also do both. Basil oil is great too and you can make it with the herbs that you grow.

My soup was served with mozzarella cheese on the top. I like mozzarella as it doesn't have yeast in it. The same with cream cheese, or Greek Feta cheese, that doesn't have yeast in it either.

I do like Italian and Greek cuisine. I could call this soup my Kyriacos soup. You could also include some black olives in it too. Borlotti beans otherwise known as "cranberry beans' are great for building muscle strength, and they are great in salads.

Basil is recommended for people with any "arthritic conditions" or "digestive" conditions. I like basil very much and I enjoy growing it and cooking with it. I like to grow three different types of basil, Greek Basil, small leaf, larger leaf Basil, and Purple Basil. It is definitely one of my favourite herbs.

Cooking as always been my relaxation time in my adult life, therapeutic, creative and peaceful. I was blessed with a mum that was a great cook, she was also willing to try different foods, she was open to us introducing her to different foods for the first time too.

Open hearted, adventurous, creatives, make great cooks and great food for all of the family. Then when you include the healing and health aspects, and the science of it, it's truly WOW! The Ancient Greeks certainly knew about science and the power of the basil.

The Greeks and the Italians are some of the most healthiest people in Europe, their diet and sunshine certainly is a high contributory factor in that. They also eat a lot of salads, fresh salads. Tomatoes are great for the prostate, and olives are brilliant for the skin.

The ancient olive groves and the scientists say that garlic is now the number 1 "anti-cancer", food. So how much garlic do you eat each day, ponder upon it.

GREAT DAY FOR FREEDOM

There is a Pink Floyd song that was released in 1994, it is called "A Great Day For Freedom". In the song the glass is mentioned in the lyrics.

"And with glasses high we raised a cry for freedom had arrived".

On the 6th of May, 2018, we have a major event in London called, "Day For Freedom", on Freedom of Speech. MILO and Gavin can't be stopped, they have British passports. Tommy and the team have organised a stage, large screens, and live streaming for the two hour event.

People have asked if they can bring their dogs, and will it be safe for children, in the latest promo Tommy said. "Yes", in response to both questions. More promos are coming.

Coaches from around the country are being parked on the embankment and they will have police protection. When leaving the event, there will a police escort out of the capital city. The London metropolitan police are co-operating with this major event and Tommy will also have his barrister with him.

The veterans are meeting at Speakers Corner and are walking to Whitehall.

The football lads are bringing the banners.

People will also gather at Trafalgar Square, another meeting point.

There are many different high profile speakers coming, and it includes the new leader of UKIP Gerard Batten, MEP. Have you seen the national media publicise this major event, not likely. This event is the people for the people and our freedom of speech. Freedom of speech that is an international law. Human Rights, Universal Declaration, Article 19.

Lag BaOmer London Explosion

First we had Israel flooded just prior to Pesach Sheni and now there is news of an explosion at a Jewish Lag BaOmer celebration in London.

The Daily Mail report that 30 people including children have been injured at the event in Stamford Hill, London. The story goes that they threw their mobiles onto the celebration bonfire and it is thought that caused an explosion. Many of those injured have facial burns and ten people are believed to be hospitalised. 

Not very bright are they to get that close to a bonfire with children. Seriously, where is their common sense. Common sense is more important than a bonfire, and their festival. The children are more important than a bonfire and their festival.

CHILDREN over the FENCE

This evening there is news that two children from a reception class, ages 4 and 5 climbed over a 6ft fence to go home to granny. Even a 6ft fence couldn't keep those children away from their granny.

As we know children go to school far too young, given the choice, they would much rather be at home. Did you know that sending children to school too young can impede their development and learning capabilities.

Children and their freedom to be with their granny. Big smiles. Children have a special relationship with their grandmother's when they're allowed to have. I loved my gran and she loved me, my gran used to have me a lot so that my young parents could have time together. It was really important to her that my parents had time to enjoy each other and their love for one another.

Katherine Sophia was hugely influential in my development, especially pre-school. Such a compassionate and charitable woman, definitely a Christian that lived by example. She wasn't a churchgoer, or a bible reader, she would rather take a hot drink and cakes to the homeless.

If someone came to her home and said that they liked something, she would give to them. That would make my mother cross, because my mother had just bought it for her. My gran wasn't interested in material things, she used to give it away to make people happy. She was definitely a minimalist and a giver.

She would take me to the market and find me the biggest and best fruit that she could, gran was definitely into the nutrients in fruit. We would sing, skip and dance together on the promenade, "oh we do like to be beside the seaside." Then she would say "breathe in the sea air, this is living it up".

Gran's thoughts, she'd say "the more things you've got, the more you have to dust it."  How true is that, I don't think she liked housework much. Gran would tell my mum to leave the washing up, and go and be with her husband.

GERARD BATTEN on EU 'ILLEGAL MIGRANTS CHARTER"

Gerard Batten, MEP, and leader of UKIP, gives a speech on the EU flooding of western nations with millions of "illegal economic migrants."

The social engineering of the EU that is trying to make "illegal migrants", legal. The EU policy supports the policy of the UN, of bringing in another 100 million economic migrants with the excuse of climate change.

I am for regeneration of our western countries, not replacement of our cultures due to "cultural genocide". The sooner that we leave the EU the better for all of us. I was listening to a professor last night and he spoke of how the cost of living would drop by 8% as soon as we left the EU.

What I can share with you is that voters that left UKIP in the last year, are returning in large numbers now that Gerard Batten is at the helm. Our indigenous people are also asking for 0 immigration, and immediate deportations of existing "illegals". Remember this that Boris Johnson apparently told India that he would like to give amnesty to "500,000 illegal immigrants" and Gerard Batten is saying NO!

Unconditional love does not mean that you allow others to trample all over your soul, otherwise there is nothing left but feeling bereft. Don't take our tolerance for granted, don't take our love for granted, don't take your freedoms for granted. 

DOGS TRUST Salisbury

I woke up this morning thinking about having a clear out and to give that which I don't wear to Dogs Trust, then I suddenly heard a little bark. Hearing a dog barking in this context, means a yes to yours truly. If you are clairaudient as I am, you can hear the dog barking.

Did you know that Lazarus was licked by the dog. Yes, the dog licked it. Dogs are great healers. As we know 2018, is the year of the dog. I saw a pug the other day, the pug thought he could take me on when I was sending beaming smiles at his friend that looked like a newfoundland.

This healer, offered to foster dogs for Dog's Trust, however, after making various phone calls in 2017, they didn't phone me back. There has to be engagement Dog's Trust, you have to return people's phone calls.

In 2016, I offered loads of my paintings to "Riding for the Disabled", I thought they could make use of them to raise money for the charity. Again, that charity didn't ring me back either.

What else is going on with charities, news is that "Age Concern" is in big trouble and I am not at all surprised about that.

Perhaps that's why Hashem sent a woman instead to be a watchtower for the flock. Micah 4.

We had dogs in our family, I had a standard poodle, mum had a chihuahua, and a rotti, gran had a spaniel, my son had an old English sheepdog and a Tibetan cross. The Tibetan cross from a rescue had to be given back as she wasn't a house dog, she was young, and had to live on a farm.

Some dogs are just not suitable for living in a house as pets and properties in the UK are the smallest in Europe. The purchase and the upkeep of a dog is getting so expensive that few can afford to keep one.

Property developers are not building houses big enough for people and their pets. I went past another development the other day, tiny little houses and flats all on top of each other. People are living in each other's auric fields and that is not a healthy reality to be in.

There is a biblical prophecy that says that people will start saying, "that's too small to live in". I couldn't live in anything smaller, if I did move, I hope that it would be to somewhere bigger. Yea, somewhere bigger with a mikvah. I had a MIKVAH dream in December, 2017.

This year I am focussed on not spending another winter in England due to the high cost of it, and I do like a sun tan for my body.

My olive skin requires it on a continual basis. The best way for me to be healthy at this tender age; is to be in the sunshine, bathing in it, daily.  I'm thinking about the Canaries as there are few countries that are close that are hot enough in the winter time. Today is May Day, and on the 6th of May, there is "Day For Freedom" being held in London at Whitehall. Freedom of speech reminds us of the words of Jesus, when he spoke of the only law being worthy of you is the law that brings freedom. Do to you remember Greece in 2010, and the opening of the sophia wisdom gateway, and it's march for freedom. It's been quite a swim since then hasn't it.

A recent dream showed that there is one more obstacle to overcome and I do require a new passport.

To travel you have to have a passport, and I'm the mood for a new passport.
