Lawyer, Nick Freeman has been interviewed over his allegations that Dacorum Borough Council should be criminally investigated by the police force for their continuing practice of fining people for taking a "wild wee", under environmental legislation. Car drivers have been taking a "wild wee" in a lay-by.

Nick Freeman is an English lawyer best known for specialising in the defence of traffic and speeding cases as well as road safety campaigning. He is the owner of the Manchester-based legal practice, Freeman & Co. "In 2021, Freeman created a petition calling for cyclists and e-scooter riders to be required to display visible identification, to use cycle lanes where available, and for the introduction of a licensing and penalty point system." The petition only attracted 10,000 signatures. There is certainly and issue with cyclists on roads after dusk, cycles without lights, cyclists that are very difficult to see on unlit roads and they don't wear anything to make them visible.

Just this week, I was having to go at 5mph behind a cyclist, the cars behind me couldn't see that there was a cyclist in front of me, one nearly tried to overtake me, had they done so at speed, they would've run the cyclist over.
