BROAD BEAN GROWING

I'm growing some broad beans this year for the first time and in my first batch I have at least 12 plants getting stronger and stronger.

I'm going to grow them in containers in 2020. The yield from the Purple bean and Borlotti bean last year wasn't high enough for the amount of effort put in and the amount of room they took up in the garden.  So this year it is dwarf broad beans. In America they are known as FAVA or Faba beans.

These beans are high in B vitamins and are loaded with important minerals.

The Pharmaceutical Journal have provided some research on the power of the broad bean in helping "Cancer" patients and people suffering from "Parkinsons".
