SAND MARTINS NORFOLK

Sand Martin birds returned to Norfolk to find that their nests had been covered with wire stopping them accessing their nests. North Norfolk District Council say that the cliffs are eroding. It's amazing how these little birds fly all the way to Africa and back again.

I don't think netting will stop the erosion of the cliffs in Norfolk, the district council can't stop nature.

This is how it used to be for the Sand Martins. Fortunately, we have the RSPB in the UK and they've stepped into getting the netting removed.
